Insider tips

  • If you're not staying oceanfront, you'll likely need to walk from your rental or park at places like the soundside boardwalk area and walk across town
  • Duck beaches are quieter and less crowded- but access is limited to private neighborhood walkways, so plan where you're staying carefully
  • Duck is more about relaxing and low-key activities. Perfect for older family members.
